Who's History

Whodagator Animation was established with the sole purpose of nurturing the creative talents of it's team.

The collaboration started in 2004, with the live action short film titled "Ashland Terror".  Filmed in Ashland Pa, it tells the tale of giant lizards that emerged after Mt. Jewel erupted. Filmed in classic sci-fi style with cheesy props and bad camera effects, this short film turned out to be a humorous and memorable venture.

The next phase introduced hand drawn cartoons. This allowed the voice actors become more confident in development of character personality.

During production, the script is in a very loose form. As the animation process is developing, the story line evolves into a solid script. The actors write their own lines after a few improvisational sessions while viewing the completed animated short. While the team's voices are not always heard in all of the cartoons, they are always active members in story development and production.

In recent months, the actors have expanded their creativity to include concept art and film making editing decisions and storyboarding.

Since the beginning, Whodagator Animation has used it's combined talents in an attempt to bring fun and short films to their audience.

Whodagator cartoons are composed using a Dell PC, Windows Movie Maker, Photoshop, and a microphone.
